About GenR8 Ministries

GenR8 (pronounced generate) helps NSW Scripture Teachers, Chaplains and Scripture Boards strengthen their ministry in NSW schools so that many more young lives will be transformed through the Lord Jesus Christ.

GenR8 is a joint ministry of Scripture Union NSW, Sydney Anglican Youthworks, Presbyterian Youth NSW and the Baptist Churches of NSW and the ACT.

God is at work in powerful ways. Keep informed and be encouraged by God’s work in schools ministry across NSW and beyond.

Ministry profiles and online donations

Scripture Teachers, Chaplains and Scripture Boards need ongoing prayer and financial support. So we've created a place on the site where they can log in and keep everyone informed of their needs and successes at the coalface, plus a simple and secure way for supporters to donate to their ministry directly online.

Online support forums

Ministry work can be lonely so the forums have been designed to discuss the things that matter in your ministry any time of the day or night. Its also a way to keep tabs on what's happening in each region.

Curriculum and program ideas

Teachers, Chaplains and Boards can submit their own reviews of books, music and videos they've used to help engage students. Included is the ability to embed social media content from the likes of YouTube and Vimeo with your own comments. Members* can create and embed their own videos! Members* can also submit their own material to the site for other members to download securely.

Professional development tools

Again, members* can submit their own article, event or course reviews to help each other be more effective. Members also have access to employment-related resources and advice. Boards have access to resources to help them in their role.

And, of course a whole lot more!

* “Members” are employees of GenR8 Schools Ministries or Scripture boards who have a ministry services agreement with GenR8 Ministries.

“I have loved teaching scripture this past year and feel so blessed to continue this year.”
