Churches: The Inter-Church Council draws membership from a wide variety of churches in Wagga Wagga, and supporters are involved in more than 10 churches. Committee members for the High School work fellowship at Wagga Baptist, St Aidan's Presbyterian, the Wagga Church of Christ, and St Paul's Anglican.

Sekove is making great contacts with Year 7 students in class and in sport.

Prayer Points

We thank God for Sekove Lili and for the warmth with which the schools have accommodated him. We pray for a continued high rate of participation of Year 7 students in Sekove's classes.

History of the Board

The HSSREC was formed in early 2009 with a view to employing a teacher in Wagga's high schools in 2010.

The "Board" is a sub-committee of the Inter-Church Council of Wagga Wagga, which for many years has employed the Christian Education Team to oversee the deployment of volunteers into the primary school SRE program.

The High School SRE Committee (HSSREC) builds on this good work and aims to support paid staff in the three public high schools of Wagga Wagga.
